The Hybrid, everybody calls him, cause nobody knows his real name. Legend goes his mother was a gentle fairy of The North Land, who fell for the charms of a deceitful demon, who almost succeeded in luring her over to the dark side. But when her son was born, she became stronger again and resisted. In return for the promise that the devils would leave him alone, she suffered a horrific fate in a gruesome devilish ritual. Little did the devils know, the doom they called out over themselves.

The Hybrid is now the most fierce demon slayer of the realm, dedicated to revenge his mother untill the last full-blood demon has been slain. Half-demons, like himself, are captured and monitored for a while in special facilities, where they get the chance and the proper guidance to learn how to control their evil side. So far, it has proven a lot of work with very little succes. But some of those that did manage, are now fighting by his side, or became mentors to other hybrids.
