“Christmas: The Unborrowed Light”
Not for the date men chose in frost, nor for the borrowed evergreen, but for the promise kept from Eden’s dawn— the Seed who would crush the serpent’s head.
The world wrapped His birth in custom and candle, yet truth was never theirs to lend. He came not by winter’s will, but when the fullness of time had come— God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, to redeem those bound by the curse.
So Christmas is not the tree, nor the tinsel that glitters and fades— it is the Word made flesh, the Glory that dwelt among us, the Shepherd who sought His own in the cold of night.
Though calendars falter and symbols stray, the Light they cannot borrow still shines— and every heart that believes becomes its Bethlehem.
