ℹ️ I grew up with this marvel of a computer back in 1982. Learned to program at a young age. It definately shaped my future and look back on that time with fond memories. Up to this day the C64 is still world's best selling computer of all time.

The Commodore 64 (C64) was a popular home computer released in 1982. It succeeded due to its affordability, versatility, and impressive hardware for its time. Created by Commodore International, the C64 featured a robust library of games, productivity software, and expandability. It became the best-selling computer model, selling millions of units worldwide. However, the downfall came as the technology advanced, and more powerful computers entered the market. Additionally, Commodore faced financial troubles and management issues, leading to a decline in support and ultimately the discontinuation of the C64 in 1994.
