It took a while to get the right look. It's a really vicious creature. I had one in my current campaign but the group managed to avoid it. A bit unfortunate for me, I'd loved to see them fight it.

The Gibbering Mouther is a vicious creature created by some foul sorcery gone awry, consisting only of mouths, eyes and some amoid remenants of its victims fluids. The victims are dissolved into that mass and in becoming insane due to that joining in the constantly gibbering dissonant choir that moves like an octupus on a surface, sucking some of the mouths to the ground and pull the rest of the mass with it. In their madness the mouths are forced to consume anything in their way, adding more mad gibbering mouths to the body. ALthough being slow, unfortunately, it can swim through water, quicksand and mud. It's hard to flee but even harder to fight.
