The Japanese cowgirl is ready to use a branding iron.

I occasionally create something starring a Japanese cowgirl who lives on a cattle ranch in Texas because she loves the local lifestyle. This time around, my prompt called for her to be holding a branding iron in an Impressionistic watercolor painting by Luis Royo. (I assume that the thing in her hand is what branding irons look like, nowadays, but I'm no expert. It doesn't look very much like what I've seen cowboys using in old Western movies that were set in the 19th Century. You know, the sort of thing that might star John Wayne?)
