Before the wires, the weight, the steel, Before the dream of glass and wheel, We breathed with trees, we walked with rain, Our roots were part of every vein.
This skin of stone, and crafted face, A mask we've shaped to claim our place. We built our towers tall and bright, Yet still we crave the forest light.
The moss remembers where we stood, Bare feet once kissed the breathing wood. Though now we hum with crafted thought, The soul of soil is not forgot.
Nature is not outside our walls, It pulses through these urban calls. We are not lost, nor far apart— The Earth still beats within our heart.
So let the roots reclaim their song, In all we build, let green belong. Not separate, but one rebirth— We are not from, we are the Earth.
