By the light of the full moon, Eliza Vaduva ventured deep into the forest, away from the village. After the death of her husband, in grief, she'd wandered deep into the forest, desparate for release from sorrow. She'd encountered the Strigoi. Its twisted curse transformed her to a beast every full moon, replacing sorrow with insatiable hunger to hunt and kill. To protect the villagers she went deep into the forest, to survive the ordeal without slaying the people. Now she felt the familiar burning in her veins as the transformation began.
