The Doorjaw

Mimicry: It can change its appearance to blend in with any surrounding doors.

Dimensional Devouring: The inside is not a real space, but an endless void where victims fall forever.

Persistence: Even if burned or destroyed, it will reappear in another place, waiting.

Lore: Some say The Doorjaw was never built by human hands but grew in an abandoned house where something hungry waited. No one knows where the swallowed victims go, but some doors have been found with faint scratching sounds coming from inside, as if someone trapped beyond the wood is trying to claw their way out.

How It Hunts: If someone places their hand on the doorknob, the wood peels away like flesh, revealing a gaping, vertical mouth lined with spiraling rows of jagged, inward-facing teeth. The "door" then lunges forward, swallowing the victim whole before snapping shut. The door then appears normal again, as if nothing happened.
