Shadow Lord

Now members of the dark undead, these shadows were formerly beings of great stature or power, called back to an existence that leaves them craving contact with living beings, whose life force provides their nourishment. These lords amongst shadows are feared even among the undead. Such is their thirst and drive for the essence of the living that nothing is safe if it prevents the shadow lord from draining the life from a living creature.
