For Annie (Nostalgia Is Impossible to Predict)

I dedicate this creation to the incredibly talented NYAnnie @AnnaMariaNieves. The Annie in my creation came to New York looking for her golden ticket, and after she became a success, she began to feel nostalgia and homesickness for her home country. The part of this creation's title in parentheses comes from a quote from Canadian author Russell Smith: "Periods of nostalgia are impossible to predict or explain." I am New York born and bred, crossed the river to the Jersey side, and sometimes find myself thinking back on my memories growing up on Long Island.
