This was supposed to be simplest of rituals, much like those written in fairy tales. There was a chosen beast, meant to act as a spiritual medium. The invited entity would receive offerings in exchange for answers. This however is not how the pact proceeded. The entity conjured known only as Ithliose, found their magical practice fascinating, and instead of answering questions it modified its host into a beast of ancient magic. It then forced its way into their dimension, leaving an open door, a door through which primal magics from the primordial age came flooding through. Creatures emerging from the door take on a form similar to the one ithliose chose, which is some manner of lion, though many or vary greatly from the actual animal. Also, the area where the doorway tot he other realm lies has permanent rainbows, burned into the sky. the only other noticeable difference is that plants and animals seem livelier and pollutants such as smoke, smog, garbage seem to evaporate.
