After the destructive Samuwars of 2551 the free-thinking samubots vs human owned and controlled samubots, there were many Samubots that were left without masters to control them.

This brought many freethinking samubots with less money to rely on collecting scraps to survive, sometimes appearances were considered shameful and monstrous.
