Victory V, powerhouse: a gem born from fire and shadows

Many a little girl, it is said, dreams of being a princess. V hasn't dreamt that in years. Princesses are normal. The day her aura first went critical placed "normal" beyond her reach.

Pretending to "still" be a cheerleader seems harmless... And it's far short of "princess"... But it's close enough to normal not to feel like a total lie.

• Besides, she did try out for the squad. And the fire department did extinguish the burning bleachers.

• Making a fire-resistant uniform later took a little imagination. Yup... That was a wee bit embarrassing... (But a super cute fireman did let her keep his jacket.)
