As he passed an old storage unit, something strange happened. The temperature in the tunnel seemed to drop, and the hairs on the back of Daniel’s neck stood on end. He stopped in his tracks, glancing around the darkened corridor, but saw nothing. His breath caught in his throat as a distant sound began to fill the air—something soft, like a whisper, barely audible at first.

Then the whisper grew louder, a low hum, like the distant roar of the wind, but it wasn’t wind. It was something else—something otherworldly.

Daniel turned to face the end of the tunnel, his pulse quickening as the world around him seemed to shift. The walls of the tunnel seemed to warp, the flickering lights dimming and then flaring back to life. The floor beneath him felt unstable, like he was standing on the edge of something far greater, something he could not fully comprehend.

And then, it happened.

The heavens opened.

A great, blinding light broke through the ceiling of the tunnel, illuminating everything in a brilliant flash that made Daniel stagger back. His hand flew to shield his eyes, but the light was too strong, too powerful to block out. The tunnel, the city, the entire world seemed to fade away as Daniel was lifted into a vision—one so clear, so vivid that it felt as though he had been taken to another plane entirely.

Before him, the sky stretched out, vast and eternal, and he saw a figure standing in the midst of it all—radiant, yet humble. The figure appeared to be a Lamb, slaughtered but still alive, blood running down its white wool, its eyes burning with divine purpose.

The Lamb stood at the center of the heavens, and in its hands, it held a scroll sealed with seven seals. As Daniel watched, the Lamb reached out and began to break the first seal. The sound of the seal breaking reverberated through the sky, like the crack of thunder.

And from the broken seal, there emerged a horseman.

A great, white horse stepped forward, its hooves thundering across the sky. Upon its back sat a rider, cloaked in white, with a crown upon his head and a bow in his hand. The rider’s face was obscured, but his presence was unmistakable—he had been sent to conquer.

_July 14th, 2060 — New Los Angeles, Underground Sector_

Daniel Harper moved quickly through the dim, winding tunnels beneath the city. The air was thick with the scent of oil and rust, and the only sound was the faint hum of the power generators deep below the megacity. The flickering lights cast long shadows across the narrow passageways, but Daniel knew them well—this was his domain, the hidden world beneath the New Global Federation’s ever-watchful gaze.

His heart pounded with urgency, his mind replaying the latest reports from his underground church. The NGF had started rounding up more dissenters—more Christians, more rebels. The crackdown had begun to intensify, and Daniel knew it was only a matter of time before they found the last remnants of his father’s old insurgency.

He had to move quickly.
