He came to me last March.

I was drunk off nostalgia after watching "The Breakfast Club" for the first time. The 80's vibe, the teenage angst, it all felt like *home* somehow. I think at the time I loved Bender the most - hence where the inspiration for my novel character, Lewis, a troubled high schooler with a tragic past, came from. But this guy is more me than anyone I have ever known.  (except his tragic past. I've been fortunate enough for my own to be a little softer around the edges) His hopes, his fears, his aspirations, his dreams - all are mine, in one capacity or another. I love this kid with my entire heart and soul - because I can't seem to tell where he starts and I stop. Consider the line officially blurred, my friends.
