Ah, this one glimmers with story potential.

I call it: “The Night the River Forgot to Flow”

Once a year in the village of Stillmere, the river held its breath. It wasn’t out of fear or rebellion—rivers don’t do those things—but out of curiosity. For just one night, it stopped flowing entirely, letting the stars and lanterns reflect undisturbed upon its glassy surface. On that night, if you whispered a wish into the stillness, the river would remember it—and on some forgotten Tuesday, it might just grant it… in its own wet, mysterious way.
