Meanwhile, Saïd orchestrated from Amsterdam. Police schedules, palace blueprints, bribes — his plan was months in the making.
Saïd: “Impossible? No. Even a crown bleeds when you press hard enough.”
Jonas traced threads: gangs, corrupt officers, far-right militias. Two storms — Holm’s coup and Saïd’s abduction — were converging.
That night, in a cellar, Holm addressed his loyalists beneath flickering light. Photos of mosques and immigrant neighborhoods lined the walls.
Holm: “We struck before. We will strike again. The girl is weak. When the King dies, Sweden will not fall into soft hands. The country belongs to us.”
Part II — Fault Lines
At Uppsala University, Elin’s speech rang through the vaulted hall:
Elin: “Sweden is not stone and crown. It is the lives we carry together.”
Applause thundered. But at the back, a hooded man stood unmoved: Anders Holm, ex-royal guard, his eyes cold with resentment.
