After hearing a thunderous rumbling in the woods that shook her home's solid foundation, Starlight rose from her bed and looked out the window towards the sound. There she saw flashes of prismatic light that seemed to light up the heavens. This was no lightning or mortal being, she thought. She went out to investigate.

As she began to walk through the woods towards the flash, the lights subsided, appearing to fade farther into the horizon. She pressed on. 

She could sense the dark magic at play. Not only that, but her blue hair began to emit an electrical charge -- filling her power reserves and heightening her senses.

Finally reaching the smoking remnants of the mysterious flash, she came upon a circle of burning trees. Walking along the perimeter, she found an opening in the wall of flames, peering into the middle of the clearing. There a smoking crater remained, zaps of electricity still dancing upon the surface.
