Nice series!  As an experiment, add to the end of the prompt "in the artistic style of Salvador Dali" or perhaps Kandinsky for this series.  Or you could combine several artists in the prompt -such as "Picasso, M.C. Escher, Tim Burton, and Salvador Dali."  I tend to use SDXL for the final works and the Dragon engine for the rough drafts. Hi Frederic. Thanks for the suggestions. I have done tens of thousands of AI images and tried all sorts of combinations of style and artist. At the moment I am investigating the use of Start Images, so I'm keeping the prompts simple (except when I don't!) But when I'm moving on from that, then yes all the options including artists can go in the mix. 
I have over 2000 credits in my bank but still find the results disappointing. I like the result to be a surprise, rather than just getting an approximation of what I asked for. And SDXL's inability to handle multiple prompts is a real limitation. I want to make 'art' rather than 'pretty pictures'. I see some beautiful artistic images out there, but always with hidden prompts so I can't follow them. Anyway thanks for your interest.

Sounds good! I am into AI art predominately to learn different historical artists from the past. I find it interesting when an artist such as Norman Rockwell paints an awesome dinosaur -something I doubt he ever painted in his lifetime. Initially, my experiments used the Mona Lisa and as many artists as I knew at the time painting their own version of this painting. This exercise was useful in that I was able to differentiate the artistic styles and figure out which ones I liked for different projects. Another interesting discovery was that listing the artist's name in the prompt would often change the appearance of the model to look like the artist. This discovery was particularly obvious when using Salvador Dali. In the early days, I tried every daily challenge as a way to learn techniques, but now I do things that I find of interest. I am always curious to see what things others like and do not like. For those things which are not popular, I am curious to see what can be recycled.
