Tiefling Einuval Pael explores the submerged palace of her ancestral home in Minauros

Einuval had left the third layer of the nine realms of torment in her youth, apprenticed to a lich lord on the second layer of Dis. She'd spent centuries in the iron metropolis, serving her cruel master, learning his secrets and eldritch powers. When she'd acquired his phylactery and become the master, she decided to return home and find her family.

But there was no sign of her clan. The palace where they had dwelt in the marshes of the third layer was half submerged into the mire. She strode through the remaining halls with a hollow in her stomach, but her chin held high. She'd striven for power and prestige in the infernal realms and against all odds had achieved them. That none of her clan remained was proof of how far she'd come.

She took a long last look around and summoned the portal, returning to her iron bastion and the endless intrigues of the endless metropolis.
