My special needs daughter is 21 as of today. She has had to overcome so many difficulties in life. When she was 3 we started her with horse therapy lessons and continued till she graduated from high school. I can’t express how thankful I am for all the people that have helped her learn, grow, and overcome more than I can write about. I honestly do not know what we would have done without them while she grew up and especially today now that she’s no longer in school. Nowadays she is learning to work simple jobs but she still has a whole group of individuals helping her out. We would be lost without these helpers and my daughter’s life would be far more dreary as well as difficult without them. One her favorite things these days are the various activities she gets to sign up for each month and have someone go with her. She has gotten to do so many things I never would have been able to do for her like going to hockey/baseball games, going to the zoo, and so much more.
