The team entered the refectory and began rummaging through the box of MRE’s. Colonel Larkin chose southwest style beef and black beans, Fairbairn picked out beef stroganoff with noodles, Sister Helena picked out chicken with tomatoes and feta cheese and Bjornson picked out a pepperoni pizza slice. After preparing their meals they sat at the table. After Sister Helena said grace, the team began to eat.
“That was a lovely service,” said Fairbairn. “One of my ex-boyfriends was COE. It reminded me of a service that I went to with him. Yet it felt different.”
“We have something similar in the Catholic Church,” said Helena. “It's called the Anglican Ordinariate. Long story short, in the early 1980s several whole Episcopalian and Anglican parishes converted to Catholicism and petitioned the Pope, to allow them to keep their liturgical traditions once they were reconciled which he allowed.”

Interesting snippet about that Anglican church becoming Catholic, which I assume actually happened.
“That's interesting,” said Fairbairn. “It is,” Helena replied. “Before I entered Carmel, I often attended Mass at an Anglican Use parish. My Papa was an was Episcopalian but didn't practice. We went to Christmas and Easter services, and what I remember from those services matched almost word for word at the Anglican Use Mass. Even Eversham's Divine Worship is almost identical to the Anglican Usage Mass back on Earth.”
“I see,” the Scott said. She turned to Bjornson. “That was a wonderful impression of Teal’c, Bjornson.”
“I felt he was right there with us. And that’s coming from a guy who worked with the big guy on several missions,” said Larkin. “Well done.”
Bjornson blushed. “Thank you, Sir. Ma'am,” he replied. The mention of Teal’c’s name made Sister Helena shutter. Bjornson noticed the Carmelite’s uneasiness. “Are you okay, Sister? Teal’c’s a lovable guy.”
