This reminds me of a Somali Independence Day festival I went to in Maine once. Very laid back but everyone has a picnic in the park. Nice creation!

Sounds like a nice get-together! I'd be happy to try all the foods since my tastes already run to the unorthodox, but I'd give mutton or sheep meat a pass. I've had meat for I'm cow, pig and chicken, of course, plus I've had goat, rabbit, duck, goose, turkey (not my favourite except thigh), pheasant, caribou, deer, moose, frog legs, and even tasted some elephant biltong that was brought by a couple from SA back in the early 80s. I know now it's not allowed. But I dislike mutton though I suppose it is had it as a kid, I might like it.
