His left eye is milky white — lost to a marsh drake — and he wears its fang around his neck. Personality: Gruff but deeply loyal. Garven rarely shows emotion and has little patience for fools, but he's beloved by his rangers and seen as the people's shield. Beneath his hardened exterior lies a wound that never healed: the death of his wife and son to a rogue bogwight five years ago. Abilities & Tactics: Master of wetland combat and guerrilla tactics; trains his rangers to vanish in mist and strike like ghosts. Expert tracker, even in treacherous bog terrain. Refuses to use magic but respects it when wielded responsibly.
