She planned out exactly what she was going to wear, the red sweater and grey jeans she got for Christmas, and her tall red boots all would be perfect. But a jacket? Her black leather, her jean jacket? Finally, she settled on her black puffer coat. Once at the party, she couldn't wait till midnight. She knew that would be her chance. Finally, the clock struck midnight. She said Happy New Year, then snuck outside to sit on the edge of the pool. She stuck her right boot in, the water almost to the top. She looked down into the water filled with excitement as she stuck her left boot in. Finally, she slid off the edge into the water. I felt so good! She couldn't believe she had never done this before!
