Dreamscape: The Wandering Robot

"Somehow, I fell asleep without eating dinner. Next thing I knew, I was walking on the streets of Seattle after heavy rain poured. The city was drenched, puddles everywhere, and the streets were almost flooded. Out of nowhere, as I passed by a cozy little coffee shop, I heard a loud clanking noise. Turning my head, I saw a manhole cover being shoved aside. To my shock, a giant green robot emerged from the manhole. It was bulky, with massive shoulder pads and arm guards. A dimly-lit core glowed eerily at the center of its body, and its head looked like something out of a nightmare—skeletal and fearsome. The coffee shop patrons freaked the hell out, some of them jumping out of their seats and others frantically calling 911. The robot stood there, water rushing towards it, making strange pulsating sounds. It seemed almost alive, the core in its chest glowing brighter as the water touched it. Then, it turned its head and looked right at me.
