One night, she decided to confront her fear and talk to the monster. She waited until her parents were asleep, then she turned on her flashlight and crawled under her bed. She expected to see a pair of glowing eyes, sharp teeth, and claws, but instead she saw a small furry creature with big ears and a long tail. It looked like a cross between a rabbit and a cat.
