Speed West Racing, Episode 1.50B: Spa--Saturday, Qualifying; Michele Eyes the Sky

Michele: [kind of talking to herself] "Theeeeere it is. I was starting to get worried. Hello, darkness, my old friend . . ."

Michele: [on the radio] "Okay, guys, get inters on the car right now! Keep the blankets on them until roll time. Maybe the other teams won't see what I see. Sabi, tell Rhonda the rain's coming in about 30 minutes, about two minutes into Q1. We're gonna put inters on the car and send her out on my call. If I call it right, the rain should start coming down about halfway through her first flying lap. Second flying lap, she goes for it to set a time! Let's not give anything away until we have to in Q3."

Sabine: "Got it, Mich. Rhonda's suited up, and the guys are putting the inters on now. Rhonda says she can stay on inters unless it gets super heavy."

Michele: "Geez, I hope I'm making the right call. It'd be so much easier if it would just start raining now."

Sabine: "We're standing behind your call, boss. It'll be okay."
