He'd go off once every couple of months, put on his outfit and rant from any random shed or garage rooftop he chose and would throw pickles at people walking by.
He was pretty much harmless, except for the brine stains, and the local police would entice him down with offers of hamburgers and of course, pickles, and he'd go off quietly, usually straight back to his home.
He had a daughter who was a class valedictorian!
(his son delivered onions for 30 years before moving up to cantaloupe)

When he was confined, he had little to do but eat. That's where all this got started. Warhol claimed it was performance art.
