Arrest Report: Cinderella

On March 27, 2024, at approximately 2:00 am, I, Officer Cecily Dreamer, along with Officer Tom Brown, responded to a burglary alarm at the Royal Palace, located at 456 King Street, Launceston, Tasmania. Upon arrival, we observed a female suspect, later identified as Cinderella, running away from the palace, carrying a pair of glass slippers. She was wearing a torn blue dress and had a pumpkin-shaped carriage parked nearby.

We pursued the suspect and ordered her to stop and drop the slippers. She refused to comply and continued to run. She also threw one of the slippers at us, hitting Officer Brown in the head. We had to use reasonable force to apprehend her and handcuff her. We searched her and found a mouse and a bird in her pockets. We seized these items as evidence.
