Helena shuddered. “That is disturbing. Now the Lady's presence is spreading to the Adults. What are we going to do about it?”
“The Colonel wants us to go tomorrow to Zat him. I’m also to bring smelling salts to revive him quickly. Hopefully we'll find out what happened to him.”
“I see,” said Helena. “And I'm to Zat him?”
“Yes, I want to be by his side when he wakes; He did see me at the tavern.”
“Understood,” said Helena. “Though it will feel a little strange. But I'll do my duty.”
“Good girl,” said Fairbairn. She took a sip of her tea. “Oy! This is good!”
“Thank you, Izzy,” Helena replied. “It's my own special blend.”
“That's so cool!”
“It is indeed!” Helena exclaimed with pride. She paused. “So how was Edward?”

“He was wonderful, Sister. He was kind, loves good music, and…well, I can't think of anything else. We really didn't get to talk much after our jam session because of the fight.”
“He was protective of you,” Helena observed. “Indeed!” exclaimed Fairbairn.
“Are you going to see him again?” Helena asked.
“Oh definitely!" exclaimed Fairbairn. “Though I'd have to check the SGC’s policy on off-world fraternization.”
“Understandable,” The two women sat in considerable silence for some time, sipping their tea.
“Are you ready to pray, Izzy?” Helena asked. “I guess so,” Fairbairn replied, Helena got out her breviary and her other volume for Fairbairn to use. She opened the volume to Compline and gave the book to Fairbairn. Once they were recollected, Helena motioned for Fairbairn to stand. She did so and Helena made the Sign of the Cross. For the first time, Fairbairn did so too.
