Very good point. I recommend signing up for a small monthly donation. You don’t ”feel” it , but for charities, a regular income is important. Most of us could spare 5 EUR a month, and if more did, it would be so good for the cause you supprt!

Decision made. We always acquire things here. So a little sort through and a few bags of things I can take to the local Cancer Research shop. Nothing toooo naughty maybe a couple of leather skirts and trousers appeared and a few gothy bits for Halloween. I’ll sort other bits out depending how today goes as I am going to volunteer to help in the charity shop .. but also source some stock that can be a little more special.  We all will be affected by cancer … family and friends will be diagnosed and some of the developments in the last 20 years helped by funding from the public through things like Cancer Research Uk has saved lives or made lives easier.  A charity that I am involved funded a room where patients could be told the news then take it in, in private not be pushed out of a clinic room to a corridor for example… even a fiver donation buys tea or coffee whilst news is absorbed. Every little can and does help.
