Title: The Beholder

Current Data: The Founder, as his name suggests, is the one who founded Chimera. He was a philosopher and political activist in his youth and up to his forties. He eventually founded Chimera in an attempt to change the world, in the end he would succeed, just not the way he intended.

He has a small but pivotal role in Closed Eyes. He is essentially being exploited and undermined by his successor Yue Shèng, who it is implied may be his daughter. He is a figure head that has no say, and is clearly in his last days. Chimera however refuses to let him move on, thinking it would crumble without him, despite him not having any say in the organization for over five years.

He is ultimately the downfall of his own creation. He is fond of chess, and Henry David Thoreau.
