Ramesh knows what makes her superhuman. She just doesn't know why.

It started as an infection due to some raw sourdough batter. Seriously. It makes no sense. She didn't get her powers from her chemical burns. Those simply allowed the infection to start.

Initially, it was only part of the sourdough culture that caused any problems. Why the rest of the culture took root is a mystery. She hates sweets, so no excess blood sugar. She is not made of the ingredients common to bread dough.

[... and, frankly, it's really, really embarrassing ...]

The burns will heal (mostly). And the "infection" phase will calm down (again mostly). But her powers will mature.

Her primary power source is recycling her body's biogenic waste energy. She can also tap into the biogenic waste energy of nearby organisms. (This can result in her targets developing hypothermia.)
