"Pass me the french fries, Little Puff!" - "Come and get them, Grumble!" - "I can't, I'm stuck in chips!"

In the warm, porous land of Pumice Hollow live the Pebblefolk - gentle beings made of clustered spheres, shaped by laughter. They rise from the stony ground when the sun turns tangerine, blinking amber eyes and stretching into new forms - some sprouting arms, others waving finger-like fronds. Their elder, Grumble the Round, teaches them to hum deep notes that ripple through the earth, awakening the rooted guardians who sway in rhythm.

Today is the Hatching of the Echo Seeds, when tiny clusters in the crater begin to whisper their first sounds. The Pebblefolk gather around, singing softly to coax the echoes to life. From the orange hollow, faint murmurs answer back - the first songs of new voices joining the chorus. As the air shimmers, the Hollow itself seems to hum in return, remembering every sound ever sung. And so the Pebblefolk’s song continues, a living harmony carved in stone and silence.
