Born of Thaumaturgy: The Du'Oloyill

A race of beings that were gradually mutated by living in areas that were greatly altered by extreme forces of arcane influence and thaumaturgy. These beings came to be known as the Du'Oloyill, which means miraculous birth in the tongues spoken across the words in which they inhabit. Racially they are ambiguous, since the thaumaturgy and arcane forces that affect them give them similar traits, regardless of whatever race they officially belong to. These beings have elongated ears that can hear the frequencies created when magic that is cause, asserts its influence over reality. This allows them to identify the kind of magic being used around them, without ever seeing the caster or the effect they are calling forth. They also tend to be born with some form of magical focus on their forehead, replacing one eye, or on the torso, allowing them to almost instinctively cast spells as soon as they are old enough to speak.
