This was an intial attempt to lift up the textures of the ink.  I started by lifting a couple of directions from the Living Watercolor prompt I'm developing. 

While it's not quite Impasto we *do* see the Ink coming to life by soaking her hair and blouse.  It's not only that she's painted with Ink .. the Ink has become an element in the portrait.  

This is a *magic spell* direction borrowed from Living WCs which is a variation of the spell used in many of the Living Oils portraits.

Yes, her hair is soaked with the ink, and the two become inseparable at different points throughout the image. I’ll be trying to create the impasto through two parts of the prompt, one with an impasto artist and secondly through descriptive words (maybe I can write an incantation 😁) See how I go. Now to go find a prompt that might be a good starting point😁😁😁
