I used to think that "to be" is "to exist," but they're different. Exist comes from "ex" which means apart from, and "sistere" which means to stand, so to exist is to stand out from. And eventually to dissolve back into that from which it stands out or arises from, whereas "to be" or being, is that which is prior to existence, what existence arises from and then returns to. Being is prior to existence, is non-objective, imperturbable, not a "thing" that can be conceived by the finite mind, though the finite mind is literally made of it. Ironic yes, but wonderful, too!
This image depicts a surreal cosmic scene with a floating burble in a vibrant nebula. It features bold outlines, swirling starlight, and impossible celestial formations illuminated by triadic lighting, rendered in a Fauvism style.
