Glacier Creeper

An ancient, vine-like plant that grows in glacial crevasses and ice-fissures, the Glacier Creeper is as much a phenomenon as it is a plant. With translucent, blue-green leaves that shimmer faintly beneath layers of permafrost, it is often mistaken for buried glass or frozen veins of emerald. Its growth is agonizingly slow—some vines estimated to be centuries old stretch no longer than a man’s arm. Appearance: Leaf-blades are narrow, icy, and translucent, like frozen dragonfly wings. The vine itself is semi-crystalline, pulsing gently when touched or warmed. Entire sections of the plant may encase themselves in a sheath of clear ice—this is not a defense mechanism, but part of its life process. Emits a faint harmonic vibration under auroras or in the presence of ley magic.
