Eshter 1:12 - Queen Vashti refuses to be summoned by her king, to walk in front of other drunk men.  There is discussion among bible scholars that she may have been pregnant and did not want to be seen that  way.  Also that she may have been concerned that her veil would be commanded to be removed and she could not and would not allow that to happen.  This action of hers, a great bold statement and choice on her end, but sadly sin and lust and anger over rule Godly wisdom, led to her being removed and replaced as queen in Esther 2:4.
