A tragic hero, the person whose greatest strength becomes their undoing. This piece, in particular, explores the heavy cost of power sought out of fear, rather than conviction. The woman’s signature red hair is the constant thread, the fiery spirit that can never be extinguished, whether she uses it to seek truth or dominate others. I wanted the viewer to feel the physical tension of the transition: the soft robes tearing away to reveal the cold, protective shell of the armor. It is a visual dialogue between 'Who I was meant to be' and 'Who I became to survive,' culminating in the moment of absolute stillness just before the final choice is made. The light's presence on her dark side is not judgment, but an unconditional invitation.
