Arten'Neous: The Titan of Magic and Mayhem

A spellcaster that was frustrated with the restrictions that prevented mortals from using certain forms of magic that only higher beings could perform, took drastic measures to temporarily evolve himself into such a higher being. He held hope that even for the short duration of the spell that he had secretly stolen, that even he could play with the greater forces of Thaumaturgy and Archaeomancy. Despite the odds, he was able to assume a form similar to what he intended, and at long last he was able to cast and craft using the most wondrous of powers. happy to have succeeded, he then contently waited for the last few minutes of the spells duration to expire, only to discover that he did not revert back to the form he knew. Panic set in as he realized that if he needed to get help turning back, it would be revealed that he had stolen, and performed taboo magics.
