I decided to end the previous challenge early after only 27 out of 34 entries had voted. I apologise to anyone who missed out on voting. 

There had been two issues happening simultaneously, first a huge, larger than normal string of downvoters, and secondly for many people, their scores had simply stopped moving even after many people had been voting properly and mentioning it in chat. My own was stuck on 3.0 for about 9 hours. 

There appeared to be a glitch at work and I suspect that incoming votes, at least for most people weren't being registered. Due to my own personal timing issues and wanting to get a new challenge started right away, I decided to finish the glitched one early....otherwise it might have been days before I could get it going....and I hoped the challenge results would shed some light on things.

In the end, we had 29 scores below 4.0 with the lowest at 2.25.

My congrats to those that somehow managed to get higher than four!

Hmmm and she has a violent love of pink.  ;)

She isn't violent at all.  She's perfectly sweet.  Just don't try to take her cotton candy. I can't help you if you try that foolishness.

She's a very sweet woman, you have to understand. She is sweet to everyone she meets. She approaches life with a sweet attitude. And of course, she takes care to look as sweet as possible.

Naturally, it follows that she has a sweet tooth as well.  Thankfully, there's a carnival in town, with plenty of sweet events, rides, and merchandise all for her entertainment.

And a trip to the carnival wouldn't be complete without a visit to the cotton candy stand.

But should she partake of this delicacy? It would be a shame to ruin something so sweet...

As the sun dipped behind the distant mountains, its fiery hues ignited the heavens, painting the clouds with streaks of molten gold, fiery orange, and deep crimson, all fading into the twilight blues at the edges of the horizon. On the summit of this awe-inspiring rock off the Kerry coast of Ireland, is St Fionan’s monastery, one of the earliest foundations in the country. The monks who lived there prayed and slept in beehive-shaped huts made of stone, many of which remain to this day.

The monks left the island in the thirteenth century. It became a place of pilgrimage and, during the time of the Penal Laws, a haven for Catholics.

Following in the monks’ footsteps involves climbing 618 steep, uneven steps. Getting to the top is quite a challenge, but well worth the effort.

As well as the wealth of history, there is a fantastic profusion of bird life on and around the island. Little Skellig is the second-largest gannet colony in the world.
