I wanted to use Marilyn Monroe for something, but the question was: What? Then it occurred to me to have her teamed up in a comedy film with some great actor whom she never actually co-starred with. Then I realized it should be Charlie Chaplin, and that I should make it black-and-white to suggest the sort of thing he was doing back in the 1920s.
