Sunset blaze painted the sky. Noah, heart a nervous hummingbird, looked eye to eye with Allie. She was standing, a vision in soft blue sundress, hair a windblown halo. Silence stretched, thick with unspoken things.
"Remember," Noah finally blurted, "when I said I'd kiss you at this very spot if you let me borrow your notebook?"
Allie's lips, pink as sunset, curved into a smile. "Only if you still have the same terrible handwriting, Mr. Calhoun."
He chuckled, pulling the tattered notebook from his pocket. "Guaranteed to make your heart swoon in confusion."
She leaned in, eyes sparkling. "Challenge accepted."
Their lips met and the world shrank to this stolen moment.
They broke apart, breathless. Allie whispered, "Maybe your handwriting isn't so bad after all."
Noah grinned. "Only for you, Ms. Nelson."
The idea to make a claymation was from @Natalie-Wellington (I was just realized there was this kind of art form)
