I was "playing" with some of my outtakes from the acts of kindness challenge, and this one is my favorite. I wasn't sure what was going on in this image, other than these sisters returned home to mourn a death of a family member. Then I found a poem from Jandy Nelson called "The Sky Is Everywhere," and I became haunted by the last stanza: 
"grief is a house where no one can protect you
where the younger sister
will grow older than the older one
where the doors
no longer let you in
or out"
