No one had any idea how the TV networks manipulated the filming of Gorgeous George's wrestling matches: the impression given was the G.G. was of normal height. NO!
TV crews would use children, dwarves, and cardboard cut-outs in a manner that made G.G. look a reasonable height. They even used puppets! His stardom was a farce!
To this day, no one knows that he could not get up onto a couch without assistance.
