Thank you! I appreciate that very much. My husband is so sick already. This heat sure isn’t helping. It has shown us what being a true neighbor means. One of our new neighbors has loaned us his rechargeable fan and lantern and has been bringing us freshly charged batteries every day. Their house here doesn’t have power either, but their primary house does, thank goodness!

I am feeling a bit like this cobra! Hurricane Beryl went right through us. Trees are down everywhere in our yard. One took our power line down with it. We’re on our 6th day with no power, therefore, no air conditioning, in this sweltering Texas coast heat. Prayers appreciated!
