Exit 9, Garden State Parkway

The scene is a dimly lit, 1940s, urban diner at night. The diner is rich in art deco design, but is the only business open on the block. All the patrons are extra terrestrial aliens. These green skin, large black eyed aliens have taken over 1940s New York and are eating at the local diner at 2AM.
