Taco, The Immortal

My cat taco (depicted here) is an outside cat, about 2 years old. My five year old daughter's favorite thing in the world. Sometimes him and his pals Steve and Bean-Bean (although not usually Bean-Bean because he is still a kitten) go on cat adventures and might be gone for a day or two. Three at the most.

On or about April 23rd Steve went missing, then a day or two later, taco as well. After about a week of searching and just hoping they would come home, checking shelters etc, I had unfortunately written both of my beloved cats off as deceased, or at the best case, missing and unable to return home.

Then two days ago, from apparently no where at all, this formerly fat, obese even, cat comes walking up the back deck, with only about one of his nine lives left. He was weak, but he was alive! He was gone for a total of 47 days, and I can only assume trapped somewhere dark, like a shed or an outbuilding, with nothing to eat or drink. I have no idea how this cat survived this long.
